First use. Hopeless. All is does is boil the food. Even though red dot popped up is not building any pressure so as I say is just boiling the food. I had my mums old Hawkins which worked faultlessly but when I got induction would not work any more. I hate this new Tefal. No instructions.

I bought this pressure cooker about 2 years ago. Very solid construction with the base heating very well for searing,etc. However, it is let down by the dial indicator for pressure. It’s a really odd and unsafe feature that means you have to lean over the cooker to see if it’s reached pressure, especially if you are short like me. I much prefer the pin style indicators that I have on my other pressure cookers. In fact, if I had noticed that the Tefal Neo didn’t use a pin indicator I wouldn’t have bought it.
