Upgrading or renovating has never been easier, thanks to Andoo.
At the time of delivery, we can also remove your old product for you and dispose of it responsibly. Simply add our free removal option to your cart upon checkout, and we'll handle the rest for you, totally free of charge.
Andoo works in conjunction with Wasteflex and various other waste management providers to ensure old products are disposed of in a way that is responsible. Where possible, we also endeavour to recycle new product packaging and materials.
Old Appliances
When you purchase a new appliance from Andoo, we'll happily take away your old disconnected appliance with us to be disposed of responsibly. We just ask that your old appliance is disconnected and ready to go when our delivery team arrives with your order.
This service is limited to the number of items in your cart. For example, if you buy a washing machine, fridge, and oven from us, we can take away 3 items at the time of delivery, from the same delivery address. Please note: This free service doesn't include any disconnection and old appliances must be disconnected
prior to our arrival. For your own safety, any hardwired or gas-plumbed appliance must be disconnected by a licensed electrician or plumber. If you've organised a paid installation service from us, our licensed and qualified team will happily disconnect your old appliance for you, and we'll remove your old appliance as a part of the service.
Furniture & Bedding
To make upgrading easier, we'll happily remove an old item that's similar to your new item.
For example, if you buy a new mattress from us, we'll take away your old mattress and responsibly recycle it through our partners, Softlanding, completely free of charge!
Mattresses
Each year in Australia around 1.6 to 1.8 million mattresses are sent to landfill and each mattress takes up 0.75 cubic metres of space in landfill. That’s 1.35 million cubic metres. We want to make sure mattresses do not end up in landfill. Therefore, when customers purchase a new mattress from Andoo, we offer a free recycling program for their old, unwanted mattress. Our delivery teams collect the old mattress from our customers and return it to our local distribution centres. From there, our partner Soft Landing collects mattresses on a regular schedule and manages the recycling process for us. Soft Landing is a social enterprise which provides employment for people facing barriers to employment. We are proud that since the start of this program in 2020, we have recycled over 1000 mattresses and contributed to the generation of over 30 jobs.
