History
Inspired by the advice of his wife in 1954, Marc Grégoire used Teflon to coat her cooking pans, inadvertently inventing the world's first non-stick cookware. Two years later, Tefal was established to mass produce non-stick pans and spread Tefal's innovation to the world. Countless pioneering concepts have followed, from Ingenio cookware of the 1980's to the Thermospot of the 21st century, with Tefal now established as a market leader in both the kitchen and the laundry.
