First of all I would like to point out that the service received from Appliance Direct was fantastic. Although I am very happy with this television, I would point out that this TV is supposed to be able to record to USB. After purchasing the TV, Sony updated their website to explain that this functionality would be available in December 2015 and now this has been updated to March 2016, supposedly this feature will be available via a software update in the future. So my strong recommendation is do not under any circumstances purchase this television until this issue is resolved. As a so called Smart TV, the recording of television should be absolutely seamless and I think it highly unlikely Sony will have this problem fixed anytime soon. If I had known this before I purchased this television it, I would have gone with a different brand.

I brought this 4K television 2 months ago and am very disappointed with it. Firstly, I used to have a Sony LED LCD TV and it was fantastic and did not have any problems after several years of use which was the main reason why I opted to repurchase a Sony although they are more expensive than any other television brand. After a few uses, the TV would randomly restart and when it did reboot, it would take 1-2 minutes to reload the android software again. Than I decided to try to watch some movies on my USB which I have done without any issues with several other televisions. I have a 2TB HDD so I have several 100 movies which are all categorized by folder (Movie Folder, Series Folder, etc) . With the Android TV, it displays every single folder in the USB including Sub folders so there are 100s of separate files to go through till you find what you are looking for. To make matters worse, it would take up to 10 minutes to load the files on the USB. Sony and Android need to work out something and do it quickly or I will never be purchasing a Sony/ Android TV ever again/
