SongPal App
Working wirelessly with your smartphone or tablet, the SongPal app from Sony allows you to send your favourite tracks straight to your wireless Sony speakers. Adjust the volume, line up the next song, and more right from your smartphone.
Hi-Res Audio
A badge given to few manufacturers; the Hi-Res Audio technology in this unit allows it to play music of a higher calibre. Hi-Res Audio devices can play music that holds more information - 24-bits to be exact. Practically, it means you’ll hear everything - every beat and breath - through high quality speakers.
DSEE HX Upscaling
In the same way TVs went from standard resolution to high resolution, audio underwent the same change. Not all music is high resolution; so this Soundbar upscales the quality from 16-bit to 24-bit to make use of all of this Soundbar’s capabilities.

Sony HTNT5 Soundbar
Not impressed with the Sony HTNT5 Soundbar. Bought it as reviews said it was ok but as you get into it you see it is not. Google cast is flaky and you need to reboot it often. Sound quality for watching TV doesn't blow you away. I should have gone for the Sonos and paid the extra dollars. If I could sell this and get something else I would.
