Love the internal blue light. Hope it lasts.
OK. But after twelve months use the pop up lid failed. The internal spring no longer lifted the lid. To refill the kettle I need to lever the lid open with the tip of a knife. No hand leverage point provided. Hoping I can obtain spare parts.The cheaper plastic model may have been more robust.

It was rubbish straight out of box. It took a bath tub of water and a gigawatt of electricity before it was palatable. It should be withdrawn from shelves until it can be sold ready to go!. Many reviews have suggested coca cola boiled in it or bi-carbonate of soda. Negative reviews are quite common. It's great to watch water boil and scale build up. Our old russell hobbs, open lid button, gave in, as it is not robust enough and lid spring weakens and opens lid quarter way.
Blue light effect
The blue light effect is not as is displayed on the box, the water does not light up blue, that is false advertising and misleading to customers
