bought this fridge . The delivery guys were especially helpful. Incredibly informative about time and delivery. they unpackaed installed .... No fuss. The product is great

this fridge is amazing. I love the dedicated fruit and veg drawer. It would be easier for people to buy online if there were images of that drawer. I had to go to the Mitsubishi site to watch a video as it looked like it could have been a freezer drawer. Friday is easy to use, easy to clean and it looks fabulous in this shiny black colour. Everyone who has seen it suddenly wants a new fridge :)

I like the fridge, it looks good and is very quiet. There are several features in this fridge that are very different from other fridges and I've had to adjust to them: The door shelves are extra deep and the shelves in the fridge section are correspondingly more shallow. This is a good thing as this eliminates stuff hiding at the back of deep shelves. It also creates a nice wide ledge in front of the bottom drawers to put things on when taking them out of the fridge. The shelves in the top fridge section are not height adjustable and the top shelf is narrow and high so if you are a short person its not easy to reach the back. That said its useful for small items not used often, so its not a big problem. The space between the other shelves is ok but not being adjustable meant that i had to change the type of storage containers i used before, flatter rectangle glass storage works better than round taller jars for example. I appreciate not having deeper shelves. The one split shelf is not that great imo because if you have taller bottles at the front how are you supposed to access what's behind them on the split shelf? There is plenty of room in the door for bottles so its not necessary to split the shelf. On the bottom of the fridge section there are two pull out drawers that would be used for meats and cheese if i wasn't a vego, so they aren't as good for me as one large drawer but they are fine. It would be great if there was an option of one drawer. The separate vegetable drawer is fantastic, its great to be able to access veggies without having to open a door first and its why i chose this fridge. Its a deep drawer and if you buy or grow produce not in plastic bags as i do, a few container will help to keep it tidy and accessible.. The small sliding shelf is quite useful for small items. The freezer is huge for the size of the fridge and has a useful sliding try that holds the ice on one side and anything you want on the other. If you don't make ice you have extra room for more frozen food. There is room to add a couple of baskets in the lower freezer section to make it more organised. The fridge light is a bit dim as its at the back behind everything (not sure why that seemed like a good design decision with such narrow shelves, there is not much room for the light to get through. The controls are back there too and this is also a design flaw as you have to take things out to get to them. These are not big issues but i mention them because this is not a cheap fridge and I don't understand why the controls would be located where they are. Especially given the veggie drawer is a separate compartment, its controls are also at the back of the fridge. All in all its a good fridge :) it looks beautiful, is reasonably compact, works silently, keeps everything cold and fits a lot of food. I mention the few problematic issues as its hard to find detailed reviews and it might help someone out there. i would still have bought this fridge regardless because of the separate produce drawer for ease and energy saving, however Mitsubishi could do better with the overall design for ease of access to controls and more flexible shelf spacing options.
