History
Mitsubishi Electric Australia is wholly owned by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan - and as such a part of a global giant who have, for 90 years, become a leading figure in the manufacture of cutting-edge product.
The company’s relationship with this country began properly with the opening of an Australian representative office of Mitsubishi Electric in 1967. The company was then established in 1974 as MELCO Australia Pty Ltd, before finally becoming Mitsubishi Electric Australia in 1982. Since its inception, Mitsubishi Electric Australia have been able to adapt their product to the demands of the local market while retaining the principles that made the Mitsubishi brand an international success story.
