Alone, this is too small for our needs, we matched with suik1510 which has a typical opening door (fit side by side seeemlessly) Yes, the price is ridiculously expensive, but first---drop your expected price by looking on Home Clearance first. We got $2000 off by buying a very dented model. Here is why you might want to spend/invest: Excellent quality: evident throughout the units great design--electronics on the outside, very clever storage features QUIET!!! so quiet, the fridge just sighs contentedly occasionally! really! I am super sensitive to noise, and it makes me happy to hear its little sigh. energy efficient : meets our off-grid needs Nothing else on the market really: underbench fridges without freezer compartments with low energy use are hard to find. THEN the DRAWERS: what a great idea! we love the drawer model better than the traditional door and shelves unit (1510). Has a sneaky compartment in the base (hard to see in the pictures), then big base drawer and 2 smaller shelves above. So easy to find anything in the fridge, no over-bending or squatting down for the lower stuff., asy to keep things organised. ahhhhh.
