Simply perfect in every way....though.....cold water from fridge could be colder!
Great fridge, good warranty service
This fridge has served our family of 6 very well over the last 2 years until the compressor died. LG honoured the warranty even though we were over by almost 2 months. They organised a replacement compressor and had it installed by All General White Goods Service but the problem is the replacement is very noisy, very much noisier than the original.I complained to All General and they said 4 out of 5 people complain that is very noisy but there is nothing they can do about it as the compressor is supplied by LG. My only recourse is to complain to LG directly which I will as the noise is driving us crazy.
VOID - same ice maker for all LG fridges
I purchased this fridge with high expectations, but unfortunately, the ice machine has been a significant disappointment. Despite diligently following the manufacturer's guidelines and instructions, the ice produced from day one has an unpleasant smell and taste. Regular cleaning efforts have not been effective, as evident from the attached photos displaying undesirable residues in the ice container and the hard-to-reach ice door.
The presence of questionable substances raises concerns, particularly regarding the potential health impact on children. In comparison to my previous Fisher and Paykel fridge, this purchase has been regrettable. Despite consistent cleaning practices, the overall experience has fallen short of expectations. I would advise against investing in this model and suggest exploring alternative options.
