The Brand

The famous “Life’s Good” slogan perfectly represents the LG ethos - infusing their design, engineering and manufacturing with the ideal of achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction. Established in Korea in 1958, the business was always at the forefront of new technology, with achievements including the country’s first refrigerator in 1965 and its first TV in 1966. By 1982, LG had established its first overseas production base in the US and through the remainder of the 20th century into the dawn of the digital age, they established themselves as a market leader across multiple industries.

Sustainability

LG continually emphasises the importance of sustainable and green policies throughout every stage of its business practice. This extends from the operational efficiency of their production plants - including the reduction of GHG emissions - to the development of appliances that leave a minimal environmental impact throughout their lifetime. Meanwhile, they have implemented a process which takes environmental issues such as decomposition and recyclability into the development stage of its products.
