I was initially happy with my purchase. The motor has lasted well so far, but the blade recently broke into pieces whist I was making mayonnaise. I have had this blender for a couple of years, but really haven't used it so much that the blade should snap. Very disappointing and had to throw out the food I was making due to the danger of metal pieces.

We got the Triblade HDP306wh at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022, and it was used infrequently over the years. When we went to use it a couple of months ago, it just never started. There was no indication that it was having any trouble during the previous use. Like the other reviewers have stated, we choose Kenwood products because of their reputation for long-lasting products. My mum has had her secondhand Kenwood stand mixer for as long as I can remember, and it is still going. We have bought several Kenwood products as a result of that. However, this product has fallen far below expectations and we are very disappointed.

Only used a few times, mostly for pureeing cooked and cooled (soft) vegetables, but the motor has already died. Very, very disappointed, because I thought the name Kenwood was an indicator of quality and longevity - much like my beloved Kenwood mixers. At a loss to know what other brand WOULD be reliable now.
