Doesn't work
I bought this about 2 weeks ago and it is useless. Won't bring the temperature down more than 3c below ambient. This is the second one I have been supplied and both are the same. Very slow response from Glen Dimplex on this issue. I want my money back so I can buy a brand that works
Impressive little unit!
I have a relatively small apartment and this unit is PERFECT for it. It's not exactly silent, but when it's super-hot, a bit of noise just doesn't matter. It's already saved me money: When I asked about installing aircon, my landlord "offered" (haha) to charge me an extra $20 per week and wanted a new 12-month lease signed. You do the math - for less than 6 months worth of the proposed increase, I purchased this unit and was able to tell the agent "no thanks" to the proposal.
