It toasts slower than paint dries
I've had this toaster for a few years and the only reason I didn't chuck it in the bin is because it cost so much. If I put the bread in at the same time as I throw the bacon and eggs in the pan, I have to wait another 2 minutes after the B+E is ready to butter the toast. Who would've thought 800W would take so long to toast bread.
Poor. Disappointed. Will keep it as a last resort, to use if my old "EMPORIA" dies.
I got it to replace my "Breville EMPORIA". A big mistake!
Doesn't do crumpets.
Warms up sour dough raisin bread, doesn't toast.
The raisin toast button is for high sugar bread.
It does toast multi grain bread OK.
It was good while it was working
I was quite happy with the toaster but it started to trip out the fuse after less than 3 years. Not sure what the problem is because where do you go to have small appliances checked these days. So paying more doesn't necessarily mean it will last as long as my old one did.
