Excellent appliance
Have already used it to dry banana, apple and strawberries -- very happy with results. Easy to clean. A good size for drying small batches of homegrown produce. Now looking foward to fig season.
Bio Chef doe sthe job well
I'm 40 odd drying hours and 4 projects in with my new Bio Chef Arizona. It dries well and I've enjoyed experiementing with nuts, garden produce, etc.
I made the mistake of oepning the door slightly a couple of times while the motor was running and now the fan sounds a bit strained.
Pretty sure items tdry faster from the back. But it's not a huge difference. I would recommend putting the bigger items at the back of the rack.
I bought this model (stainless steel shelves) over an all plastic type. And for that reason am happy with the purchase.
A good unit.
Very easy to use and quiet when operating. There were no recipes in the user manual. I was directed to the manufacturer's website, but there were no recipes available in English.
