Good luck getting a warranty
This blender broke in the first couple of months of purchasing. I've contacted Appliances Online 5 times now to get a warranty replacement and can not get anyone to do anything for me. They are saying its up to Bio Chef to contact me for this? I'm not sure that's how retail laws in Australia work. Appliances Online sold me a faulty product and are refusing to replace it or reimburse me. I've spent several thousand dollars on this site over the years and am just being ignored. Ill never use this site again. Amazon at least honours warrantees
Good but spinning blade came loose.
I was happy with the machine until I tried to make bliss balls with dates. The machine stopped spinning, as the blade was loose. My husband used a wrench to get in to the bottom to tighten it. It seems to be working again, although I am now worried about blending something as tough as dates again. Disappointing, as the reason I bought a high speed blender, was to be able to make things like that. Hopefully this is a once off, as we are generally really happy with it, although it is not the easiest to clean. The rubber top is quite sticky, so things really stick to it and the blender itself is too tall to fit in to the top rack of the dishwasher. It is quite tricky to clean by hand under the blades in the bottom of the blender. I think that the engine is quite good though.
