Value for money
I bought this cooktop last year during the build phase of my house and had the electrician wire in an extra circuit (twin phase) to accommodate the required current draw.
I have been using this cooktop for some months now and am very happy with it's performance. The cooktop is very quick to heat up and will cook food very quickly. It is easy to use, easy to clean and looks sleek in my new kitchen.
As this is an INDUCTION cooktop make sure that the pan fits most of the burner surface or the unit may not turn on as a safety measure. also, the the power level from 6 to 7 is a bit of a jump but I have got used to it and mostly cook/simmer on 6 and increase to 7 when the cooking requires a bit of a boost. Any higher and the unit is way too powerful (good for searing or heating up heavy based pans quickly).
Excellent value for money with 5 year extended warranty. Very happy!
Blowing a fuse?
Good timing, we’ve had this for just over a month and it’s now starting to blow a fuse when I turn it on. Disappointing
Good Buy given the value
We've been using this for few months now. Remarkably quick to heat up pots and very energy efficient from my observation. My only comment is there seems to be a big jump of power from intensity 6 to 7, but the rest of heat controls works fine.
