Dies after 6 months or so.
I bought this iron 13 months ago. I use it mostly when I am sewing, and initially LOVED it, especially the longer cord, great steam output, and auto off. But it died after 7 months - when it automatically turned off it would come back on again unless I turned it off & on at the power point. Not ideal. So I returned it to the store and it was replaced, no issue. When the replacement iron got to 6 months old it also died. It stopped maintaining temperature after about 5 minutes of use. Not to do with the auto-off feature, but again I had to turn it off and on at the wall to get it to start working again for another 5 minutes or so. So a similar but different issue.
I have two friends who bought the same iron after my initial recommendation who have had similar issues with theirs not maintaining temperature, and needing to be switched off and on at the wall to get it to heat up again.
In all these cases, not doing what an iron is supposed to do.
My previous Tefal lasted 10 years, so I'm pretty disappointed.

Whats not to love!
Simply the best iron I’ve ever had. Easy to operate, reduces ironing time due to impressive steam factor and as larger than other irons I can quickly iron items faster. Makes ironing almost enjoyable!
