The product is good for the price.
It's not very user friendly and difficult to put it on any timer. However, we just switch on either the heat or the steam function and switch off after we think it's hot enough. The clock does not keep accurate time.
Buyers Remorse !
I regret this purchase greatly. Can't reheat pasta! Can't cook popcorn without it burning and still plenty of corn unpopped, my child is obsessed with popcorn and this is extremely inconvenient. Any tomato based product ends up everywhere and burns here and there. In just a couple of weeks the start button looks well used. I didn't know that a new microwave could be worse than an old inconsistent one but this one is. If you want to EXTREMELY regret a purchase, this is the microwave for you.
Reheats, Defrosts and Melts Evenly...
I had an old Whirlpool microwave that lasted for 15 years(it's still going in the rental house!)! Then I upgraded to a nice looking flash Panasonic when I renovated the kitchen. What a disappointment that was. I decided to buy another Whirlpool (they are not easy to find). It reheats, defrosts and melts evenly, which is what I was looking for. It also comes with a steamer! I would recommend this.
