Expensive paperweight
I bought my first one which was damaged in the box, swapped it out and now about to throw it away.
Heat control is debatable, overheats and then drops to the requested heat this has caused damage to shirts etc
I live in a soft water area yet the sole plate is useless now
So disappointing that it cost so much and is useless. Have never used starch or anything else that may cause this.
Great Steam and glides really well.
Very poor water view makes it almost impossible to see water level.
Cord to short, too hard to see Water level
I have owned three previous Tefal irons all of which were great. With this one they have shortened the cord so I now need to use an extension cord. Also the colour of the water tank plastic is so dark it is almost impossible to tell how much water is in it, it needs to be half as dark to be usable, makes you think no one tested this product before releasing it to the market. Still is a great iron, just needs a longer cord and a water tank where you can see the level!
