I bought this iron a couple of months ago and find that it spits out water on initial use in a volume that requires at least 10 seconds of holding the iron over a towel and then wiping off the excess before using. Have had many times where we didn't do this for long enough and water goes all over the clothes. Although it irons well, this flaw isn't worth the effort.

After a couple of months of use, I love this iron! Its fast, efficient, versatile, no fuss. Water tank will last a good couple of hours depending on how much steam you use, no need to change temperature settings and is safe on silk and delicate materials, can use upright to freshen clothes on the hanger and will plough through tough wrinkles quickly. Saves heaps of ironing time. Tip* I always blast a shot of steam through the iron after start up before I put the iron to the board to press. This dries any drops of water in the iron and you don't get any water marks after doing this. I love this iron so much I bought one for my mother in law!! lucky it was still half price!
