I bought a Tefal slow cooker about a month ago, but it’s really a programmable (induction heated) pressure cooker. This is the Aussie web site that I bought it from :- https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/tefal-cook4me-multi-cooker-cy7018/ I had 800 g of pork spare ribs in the pot and it cooked for 25 minutes using the on board recipe. When I compare it to our old pressure cooker menus, the times are pretty close. The only problem I found with the cooker is the recipe book is scant on detail timings, so as I cook something I write the times down in the booklet for future reference. The cooker tells you how long it takes as you go through the on board recipe. The other caveat I noticed, is the recipe say's "add x & y" ingredients, however it neglects to list z, a, b & c ingredients, so you have to go "flat out like a lizard drinkin'" to add all the other ingredients and call it names (stir), to catch up to where you should be in the recipe. Another caveat I discovered this evening is "you really need to keep the rim of the cooker pan "spotless"". Beef Stroganoff, was the dish I was attempting to make, but as I was scrapping the meat into the pot some of it brushed the rim and left some dried flour and moisture on the rim, I guess about 15mm square. Anyway after a minute(a guess) it stops and complains about an error 24??? So after adding more water (which it didn't really need) and wiping the rim, I thought the cooking operation would pick up where it left off???? But no, you have to start the recipe again??? The other thing is the on board recipes don’t allow delayed cooking, but if you know how the recipe goes you can set it up with a delayed cooking option, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. Go figure??? Oh! The other caveat (I thought of too), is that my son actually likes cooking with it too! He even makes meals for himself and his girlfriend! Otherwise he would just nuke meat pies (which is not good for him). He (and I) like the fact that it is very easy to clean as well. He figures that when he leaves home he is going to take it with him. :) But I will say it does a dashed good job of the meals I have cooked with it. I guess some of it comes with the learning process, so one will need to "adlib" a little to achieve the desired result. But it is a really good result if you put your mind to it. :) Have a nice day.

This is the best for saving time in the Kitchen. Put everything in one go and that's it.

I have had my cooker for about 2 months,and it's a great addition to my kitchen. I bought it to replace a pressure cooker that was a bit difficult to use and harder to keep clean. I am a single and find I can make meals in minutes, enjoy some on day of cooking, and freeze some for later. The included recipes can be tailored for 2, 4 or 6 people,- pre-programmed in the machine display for your selection. The included books list ingredients and quantities for pre programmed recipes, and make shopping for ingredients simple. Wash up is a breeze. I use cook4me for most of my regular recipes, and have made use of some of the many pre programmed recipes. Kitchen stays cooler than when stove top cooking. . The only drawback is that Cooker is a little large to store in cupboards when not in use. It takes up a fair bit of bench space, but is an attractive appliance should you like to leave it out for frequent use.
