Well priced amp
This model of amp is very well priced if you intend to use Dolby ATMOS with the ability to drive two ATMS surround channels. As others have commented the amp is a little lacking in its GUI. To change channel name is easy on the front panel, but impossible for the GUI.
The rescue.
I bought this item in April because another system I had was incompatible with the Sony TV. So far it has worked really well. Easy to set up and install. Easy to operate. So far no problems.
Not durable
Lasted less than 12 months. I do not recommend Sony amplifiers or SONY support. I have spent many hour troubleshooting and trying to get warranty support with zero success. the amplifier works only on tuner and every other input will not play audio. It is a common issue with the str amplifiers. I have two of these amps and highly recommend Onkyo. my first onkyo amp is powering on strong 15 years later. Not the case for the inferior Sony made in Malaysia amplifiers. I am furious with the lack of after sales support.
