The Smeg KLF05 Kettle features a 1400 watt element which brings water to the boil quickly and quietly. The 360 swivel base allows easy placement in the kitchen, and right or left-hand operation. Just received it today. Love it except for the grey cord. should be black, same colour as the kettle and all my other appliances. looks odd and stands out in a bad way.
