Bought the Seiki brand after reading positive reviews as if was on sale and considerably cheaper than the well known brands. Fingers crossed and it is without a doubt one of the best machines I ever bought. The ease of having my washing and drying done by the time I get home from work makes it a valuable time saver. It also is superior in its function as my white sheets and towels are perfectly sanitised each and every wash. I am a one person household - if buying for a family be prepared for long programme times - just under 4 hrs wash / dry! Ohh BTW - I had to buy a longer cord to reach the hot / cold taps as the one supplied is extremely short. The drying capabilities are not really efficient and sheets and towels are usually still damp requiring extra airing to dry completely - but the combo function is a wonderful feature.

I went away for a getaway. Washing machine was off and a crack on the hose flooded my unit and 2 other and the hallway. Despite of complaining . SEiki never got back to me to pay the damaged. I received the bill to pay for all the carpet cleaning and replacement , plus building repairs and never heard from them again.

The only thing is you must weigh the clothes to ensure it has less than 3.5kg if you want it to wash and dry within five hours. It’s so darn quiet you can’t hear it running out of the laundry. It does everything you’d want and fits into a fairly small space. There is a slight heat up on hot days but 95% of that sweaty air is whisked down the drain - with a vent fan on it’s not noticeable at all. I’ve never had clothes that just felt so fresh and new. When it finishes drying, things feel slightly damp, they need to be laid out for say 2-3 minutes and will then be touch dry. If you do say 3 large towels it’ll dry them all but if you do four they’ll need some hang time to dry
