Best Upgrade to the Kitchen for an avid home chef
The new Schweigen range hood which i purchased to replace my older generic range hood that came with the build was well worth the investment. I do a lot of cooking with fragrant aromatics which in the past resulted in the bedrooms smelling like the kitchen. Since installing the new unit, I can do all my cooking without having to worry abut the whole house smelling. The silent functionality is best in class and I find I am not shouting at others when talking in the kitchen area. Best test so far is when I cook fish and curries without worrying about the smell going through the whole house of having to open all the windows to vent the house especially in winter. The filters are also very easy to clean and the best function is the Shutoff time delay which allows you to set it such it will shut off 15 minutes after use.

This is my second house with a silent Schweigen Rangehood. I love it. I am in real estate and I tell all my clients that are renovating or building new "this is the one item that you need in your house!".
Best in the market
Our Schweigen Rangehood has been installed for 2 months and is great to use. The previous brand we had lasted 27 years and we had a look at the current version of that too but its technology hadn't changed much compared to the features of Schweigen. Strong suction but only a murmur when level 5 is selected. LED lighting is excellent and love the 15 minute time out button. The look of the Rangehood is modern with the canopy section sleeker than other brands. If we get 27 years use out of the Schweigen, we will give it 6 stars!!
