We got gifted our air fryer for a house warming gift no more than 8 months ago and it has now started smoking during every use! It all started off well, we couldn’t have recommended it enough! However now we refuse to use it. We clean the tray after every use and I’ve even attempted to clean the coils up the top. Not sure what else to do as it was a gift.

This is a pretty airfryer and we were initially really happy with it. Not long after though, the non-stick coating bubbled and came off with gentle handwashing and what's left sticks onto my food, and if you're not careful it will smoke your house out. Where the coating has come off, rust has replaced. I only cook roasts in it now and must use aluminium foil to line the bottom. Wish I hadn't bought this, to be honest.

Bought this 6 months back and suddenly the heating coil inside is not working. Did not expect that to happen when we use only 3 or 4 times a month.
