As good as robot vacs get
This is the third neato I have owned, from their early XV-11 through to a D75 and now the connected. Having bought internationally before and having had a few minor drama's, I figured it would be best to update with something locally supplied. Appliances online are very fair on their price and the delivery was second to none.
Now, onto the unit itself. The connected model fits into our "smart home" very well. Being able to set it off when at work and to be able to get coverage maps of where it was able to vacuum is more than a novelty, it's very handy! This unit performs very well, even compared to our older neato. We have a large house with a cat, dog and a child and this unit keeps the floors very tidy indeed.
Having used the unit for a couple of months now, I would happily recommend it to anyone in the market for a robot vacuum cleaner.
I really wanted to like it.
The vacuum did a great job cleaning and was a breeze to use. Unfortunately some of the logic of the controller causes the machine to damage walls and doors when it gets stuck. Could do with non marking plastic and smoother edges.
