NEATO #2
first NEATO was replaced after using it four times on timber floor and hall runner -- refused to work and could not solve problem by following instructions -- on-line viewing no help at all.
Early days yet to see if second one is reliable.
Wonderful
Purchased this Neato about a month ago. Great featues with a planned cleaning path not like other robots that have a random path of cleaning. It gets everything, you can see how clean the room is afterwards.
Great vacuum
We bought this vacuum, realising it is the cheaper of the Neato models, but not knowing what to expect from a robot vacuum, didn’t want to spend a heap.
We call ours “Nicko”.. (my daughter named him).
We are really impressed by how clean the floors look after he has finished. At this stage, it takes him 90 minutes and 2 and a bit charges to do the whole house, which he reports is about 82m2 of floors he can access.
The only down-side is that as we have a couple of cats (and 3 longish haired females) in the house, we need to empty his “little” hopper at each charge, so someone needs to remember to do that. Having said that he can remind you as well..
I am really impressed by his ability to navigate furniture, and as long as a gap is slightly bigger than him, he will generally get in (and out again) of most tight spaces. He has only got stuck a few times, and we learned quickly to make sure the chairs are pushed in at the table..
