Great for roasts
First charcoal bbq for many years, mainly used gas for convenience. Needed to replace old gas model so researched and decided this Napoleon Kettle was a good fit. Mainly use the bbq for roasting and have to say the first roast (beef) came out beautifully done and the flavour is so much better than gas - just had a lovely smokey outside and moist inside. Bought a chimney starter for the charcoal and it was really easy to get going, a full basket lasted several hours and kept the meat at temperature. Putting the bbq together was a bit hit & miss, instructions could be a bit easier to understand but it came out in the end. Recommend
Great charcoal kettle
Very easy to bbq and smoke too which brings a whole new unbelievable taste to simple things like marinated chicken from Aldi. As for assembly, it was relatively easy but had to wait for a friend to come by before I could fit the wheel caps.
Perfect charcoal BBQ
Strong build. The grill pattern takes a little more to clean . Forget everything you know about gas or electric bbq. Charcoal cooking is different and bring you to a high level. Napoleon is a brand to consider in charcoal outdoor activities.
