My experience of using 3 of this LG Product
Overall, we have been pleased with this product. However one of them has now been sent for repair under warranty twice for different issues. One of the other units has now lost the LED display characters. I'm reluctant to send this one in for repair since it is out of Warranty now. Reverting back to the first unit; LG were very kind to allow this seconded repair to be done FOC as it was also out of warranty.
We have just ordered another of the same type from Appliance Online. Why? because their service and pricing is world class. We don't look elsewhere.
Issues from the start.
Had a flaw within the unit that I noticed not only on ours but on the same model the sport centre has. For no apparent reason it resets the clock and sometimes did that part way through cooking. No warning, no reason, couldn't find a way to repeat it on purpose, it just kept happening so we stopped setting the clock as it was useless at that point.
Worked well enough for a microwave for what we needed, until it died and stopped heating shortly out of warranty, almost like it was designed to fail then.
Hmmmm, the jury's still out on this product
Confession, I'm not sure why I bought this product.
I wanted an inverter microwave that had sensor cooking, so I really should have stopped there.
The microwave seems like a neat unit, but the menus are doing my head in already. The air fryer function seems to burn the crap out of everything, and you can never tell what heat setting it's on. I do not understand why manufacturers think people need a chicken, hamburger, fish schnitzel or other cooking setting.
I'll report back after month to update this review to awesome or terrible, but my gut tells me I should have left this unit in the shop
