Effective, but loud.
It's a whole lot of microwave, but it's surprisingly loud. The dial makes it easy to use, and there are a whole slew of presets for various foods. The reminder beeps that go off every minute after cooking is done seem useful at times, but are positively annoying when you're trying to do several things at once. Part of the lip of the door has, strangely, warped a bit with the heat (after a month or so)... not something you want to see in a microwave. All in all, it works, it's easy to use, easy to clean, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.
