Great alternative to an OLED for brighter rooms
When the 2021 LG QNEDs were announced in May 2021 I did my research and decided the best TV for my room was the 75 inch QNED96. It was concerning that the availability was delayed and then the major retailers were not stocking it. Only JB HiFi had it and online only, so it was a risk ordering the 8K QNED96 sight unseen. My main reason to upgrade from my LG 65" 4K UJ752 was backlighting and I wanted deeper blacks and contrast without having to choose an OLED for my bright room. the QNED96 has delivered of this - the blacks are far deeper and there in no noticeable backlight bleeding. It has definitely improved our viewing of our favourite 4K movies and TV shows. I also like the remote control as it feels sturdier.
