Good TV for the price
I've had this TV for a month now and the only reason I bought it was it was because it's Freeview plus compatible. If this isn't important to you then I'd buy the Samsung.
The smart remote is stupid in my opinion, you have to press several buttons to get to operations that would normally require one button push and relies heavily on the use of one particular button which I'm sure will eventually fail. It is a quality picture for the price and sounds better than i thought as most flat screen TV's have terrible audio quality due to lack of space in the set and rearward facing speaker
