I am very happy with my fridge and love the look of it but not so happy with the water feature i have had a lot of problems with it from the day we received it.. The water drizzles out of it most of the time and i keep having to play around with it to make it work properly.. The water feature wasn't with the extra money unfortunately.

Bought this fridge about a month ago and am pretty happy with it. Pros- smart looking fridge very flash . seems pretty efficient . happy with product Cons ( things to be aware of) . it has two main modes. Normal (fridge 3* and freezer -18*) and efficient (fridge 7* freezer -13*) not sure how these modes relate to it's four star energy rating but I'm prob not going to use a 7* fridge much as most dairy items state keep under 4*. . freezer has short depth trays, only one smaller tray that is full depth to back of unit for frozen pizzas and bigger items. . not a lot of overall fridge space it seems to fill up pretty quick and requires routine shuffling. . not a lot of bottle space I know it sounds like I don't like it but it is still a nice fridge. For two people it is fine. But will probably need bigger for a family.

I was so amazed by how quiet and energy efficient this generation of LG linear-compressor fridge operates. This is further confirmed when I received by Electric Bill, a massive savings from my previous bill, during which I was still operating my old (and now retired) fridge. Compared to my last Electric bill there was a 723-499=224 Units reducing in energy consumption, which equates to roughly a $58 savings and per month, because the LG fridge only started service for less than a month. It is easy to extrapolate this savings and estimate that the LG fridge will easily pay off itself, based on energy savings alone, in about 2 years!! Besides the stunning efficiency of this LG fridge, I am really impressed by the build quality. Gorgeous Stainless Steel finish, fully operational water dispenser and precision temperature control. The flexible shelf arrangement is also a big plus, in addition to the LED lighting. One aspect I greatly appreciates is how easy the fridge can be maneveour into its space, with its built-in rollers, despite its massive weight. There is hardly any cons I can think of with this fridge. And if I am super picky, I would suggest that LG can consider putting LED lights in the freezer compartment. A small note worth mentioning: The water dispenser may sometimes have one or two drops of leak after dispensing. But this is no big deal as these droplets are being caught by the water collector beneath, which can be taken care of by a dry cloth cleaning this section from time-to-time. The appliances online service is also superb. They managed to provide me with a great price with excellent price match. And they provided me timely contact regarding the delivery and the delivery guys were on time and very friendly. Overall I am very satisfied with the LG-GB-W449UPLX and would highly recommend this fridge to anyone who interested in sourcing a super energy-efficient fridge with great looks and functionality. The 4.5 stars energy efficiency is no joke, it truly translates into significant energy savings!
