Great kettle
Thi is a great kettle, it boils quickly and quietly. It also looks great in my older house.
worst $153 I've spent in a very long time!
bought for $153 (discounted from $199?). Accompanying paperwork says boil and discard water before first use. I did so and noticed a strong chemical smell emanating from the kettle. I've boiled water somewhere between 20 and 30 times now. There is still an acrid chemical smell coming from the kettle, and the boiled water tastes like the chemical smell. I'm having real trouble believing this is not a toxic health hazard. And I'm livid that I paid over $150 to end up boiling water in a saucepan on my stove top just to have a cup of tea. This will be my first and last Kitchen Aid appliance.
Great Kettle!!
Love this gorgeous kettle. Great size for just the 2 of us. With arthritic hands it's not heavy to lift. Just another KitchenAid product I love. Boils quickly.
