An Inspiration for my cooking
I bought this mixer as I used to own a Kenwood years ago and the various mixers I had since then never stood up to the standard. I am very happy with it, it is just like the one I used to love
Not as good as my 1960s model
I like the lighter bowl but the beaters (and I've tried them all) leave unmixed ingredients at the bottom of it which requires frequent manual stirring in with a spatula. This is especially noticeable when creaming butter aand sugar.
I find it interesting that my old Kenwood lasted 45 years and never gave a moment's trouble but this one comes with a 2 year warranty!
Great help in food preparation
I had a Kenwood food mixer for 20 years but I dropped it For 3 weeks I was lost without it,my new one has arrived & I am happy again.The basic attachments are great ,I love the dough hook ,makes it easy to make bread & pizza & focaccia dough
