Extremely fast
I bought this stove top a month ago and I am delighted with it. Water boils very quickly and the temperature drops immediately if turned down.
Great quality, tech and power
Bought the Ilve ILD914G5 in March and have been so pleased with how easy it is to use.
The double power boost means it boils water faster than my old gas cooktop and also does a better stir-fry as my old cooktop didn't have a wok burner. Love the fixed temps for keep warm, simmer and rolling boil. Makes cooking rice by absorption method so easy and everything stays warm until I'm finished cooking. The only small thing I've noticed is slight hot spots when using the bridge function with my large fry pan. Might be the pan isn't big enough though. Haven't used the roaster or big stock pot yet which might better use the bridged induction elements...
The touch controls are very easy to use once you know not to jab at them like a smart phone. Have set off the spill protection only once but glad for it and hoping never to need the overheat protection. Cleans easily with a slightly damp cloth while the glass is still warm.
