The Brand
The ILVE story begins in 1950s Italy - Campodarsego, near Venice, to be precise - where two friends Mr Illotti and Mr Berno, began developing commercial quality cookers. By the 1960s, the two men expanded their operations with the development of a range of domestic cookers. From here, ILVE continued to evolve their style and technology, while never forgetting their traditional roots. Now under the ownership of the sons of its founders, the company retains a proud and passionate commitment to excellence. And having arrived on these shores in 1984, the brand brought their uniquely European sensibility to Australian home and professional chefs.
