Appears solid & well built but
Really only brought the Ilve as an updated replacement because it was the only cooktop that fitted in the existing bench cut-out.
Had to remove the aluminium knob protection bar so you can see the small "dots" telling which knob lights which burner! Very hard to see!
Some burners take too long to light. The gas cut out protection (thermocouples) may be the problem.
