This is one of very few available models at 53cm width, which is the space we had available for a replacement. We chose the GL53EI model with the electric oven and the gas stove over the all-gas GL53GI model, because an electric oven is more flexible (cooks dry), and the gas oven model has a lower rating because the burners are in the center at the bottom. The stove and the oven have been great, it cooks well and we have no complaints. The gas plumber from Winning Services did a good job installing it. Our only gripe is that at first, Appliances Online was insisting to send an electrician installer also, which is not necessary for this oven, it just plugs into a normal wall socket. Paying for the electrician would have been more expensive for no reason. So we had a one-month delay with the installation, while we tried to get other gas plumbers to install it, but they fell through and we went back to Winning Services in the end.

I had never heard of Glem, but I have known of Appliances Online and their associated businesses since 1987 and knew the reputation of the stock they sell. I had a set sized position in my kitchen and this was the only stove/oven that would fit. It replaced a gas stove/oven. It is great. The electric fan forced oven has good heat distribution, no hotspots for when I bake - testing for this was the first thing I did after it was installed. I would certainly buy a Glem after this experience for my place in Canberra when I renovate the kitchen.
