Electronic panel just started going haywire. Now none of the buttons work. It was a great machine while it worked but I expected much longer life from this brand. Very disappointed.
Has broken down after 5 years
So sad, it was a workhorse until 5 years and one month.
Only lasted 4 years!
After doing a lot of research we purchased this washer 4 years ago. This week a Fisher & Paykel technician deemed this too expensive to repair. Don't ignore small leaks and you may get more than our 4 years of use. We're a small family and probably only used this 2-3 times a week. Apparently, the detergent drawer was leaking into the machine, probably for a year or more. It's rusted most parts as it's dripped each time it was used including the suspension to replace all the parts to get it working would nearly be as much as a new machine, hence the tech advising to replace. Whilst the features like adding an item part way through the wash, short cycles options, and washability are good I'm not sure they outweigh the longevity of the product! Really disappointed in this so-called high-end brand.
