The heating function is not effecient but the device is not bad and not expensive

Works well, with excellent Delonghi support to get an extension bar for filling the gap in the window for the outlet, but ..... our open plan living area is probably too large for the unit, the silent running is definitely not silent,Mitch higher fan levels quit loud. Overall, a good purchase in comparison with other portable A/C systems, but make sure the room size is proportionate to the unit purchased. The larger unit seemed relatively quite expensive and had not received good reviews. The portable nature of the unit provides valuable flexibility. The exhaust system hose and the extension bar that fills the gap of the open window is plastic and a little shonky, but does the job, and hence why I've rated down the build quality. Otherwise, well built.
