We ordered this machine thinking it was a replacement for our broken "original" nespresso machine. Now we have tried it we like the larger serves vertuo capsules better than original.
Superior Coffee from a Lux Machine
I have been so impressed by my Breville BNV450SIL Vertuo Plus Nespresso machine. It looks so stylish on my kitchen bench. It was so great to get a box of 15 different pods to try in the bundle. Be warned - the pods in this machine are not the usual Nespresso pods that you can run out and buy generic replacements from the supermarket. You can only order them from Nespresso. They are a half-sphere shape and come in different ml sizes, from tiny espresso right up to giant traveller mug-size. However, the coffee is exceptional and I haven't been disappointed.
The machine itself is quiet and efficient. I love the way you only have to touch the open/close lever and it moves automatically. It's very quick to heat up the water and make the coffee for you. I love the adjustable cup support for all the different sizes of coffees I can make.
Even though I didn't know in advance of purchase about the different pods used in this machine, I do not regret buying it in any way. There are a variety of different flavours/strengths available online from Nespresso and it's been a breeze to order them.
