Doesn’t last longer than 18months. Not worth the price.
One side broke after 18months of use in a two person household.
Very dissatisfied with product durability and 12month warranty.
Wouldn’t buy again even with 40% off.
So disappointing
We love Breville, our kitchen is full of Breville products, from twin boiler coffee machine, through to milk shake maker. We have always been happy with all our products, until we bought this toaster. We have never owned a toaster that on maximum browning you have to put the toast on again, Uneven toasting.Besides looking good, this product has no positive features. It won't stop me buying Breville, but I will never buy a Breville toaster again. Take it off the market
Great when it does work
I've had 2 of this toaster now and both have been lemons :(
Both start shorting the power after 12-18 months use - the first one did this just before the warranty was out, so we replaced with the same one (thinking perhaps we were just unlucky) - nope, sure enough at 18monhs use it's now shorted the power in the house. We have since moved house too, and have turned off all appliances to confirm it's 100% the toaster causing it.
So disappointing as it has great eye appeal and toasts beautifully. But certainly won't be buying another!
