You Beaut Whiz Bang
I finally decided to get a rice cooker so I did a ton of deep diving in reviews etc and found this one to be the most recommended by people who sound like me (as opposed to Michelin star chefs). From the very first use, mushroom risotto, it has proven to be a fantastic cooker. I don’t know how it does it but it cooks different rices different ways and they seem to come out perfect. I haven’t done brown rice tho because himself won’t eat it. The sauté part is brilliant. Saves having to use another pan for browning etc. I’m very pleased with it and impressed with results thus far. Must admit the risotto turned out exactly the same as when I’ve been hanging over the sauté pan stirring for 20mins. The texture and flavour were exactly the same to us. The warmer feature is also very handy. All round glad I bought it.
VERY FRUSTRATING!!
I have a love hate relationship with this product. Mostly hate. If I cook any more than 1.5c of raw rice, the rice cook functionality will stop like 5 times throughout cooking the rice, not making this a “set and forget” appliance. It’s extremely frustrating and I’m at my wits end with this product. The non stick coating is also shocking even though I only use the spoon included.
I love it
This is a great multi cooker. It cooks risotto perfectly without having to stand over it and add stock ladle bit ladle.
I highly recommend it.
