Broke after 1 year, very bad quality, not happy at all about this.

It seems like the hot plates keep switching off and take ages to cook anything.
Neat to look at and versatile. Needs ON/OFF button
I haven't got a lot of bench space so didn't want a permanent cooktop. This is portable and lightweight making putting away under the island bench easy. The tricky thing is that the heat dial is very easy to knock into the 'heating' mode and a few times it has been hot when we weren't aware. It would be safer to have a definite on/off button or a 'click' into off mode on the heat dial. We need to turn off the power at the switch to be sure. It takes a few minutes to get hot but when it does the heat is effective and cooks well.
