The Breville Quick Touch
I’m delighted with my new Breville Quick Touch™️ microwave. Looks great and I love the intuitive quick touch buttons and the LED display. I mainly use it for defrosting and reheating and I get good results all the time, no more overheated leftovers .
Did love it but...
I have had this microwave [sesame black version] for 3 years and it was the best one I have owned. Last night however, whilst cooking rice, it started to emit acrid smoke from the vent holes inside behind the control panels. I had someone else home to help wrangle the microwave out of it's dedicated cabinet space to disconnect the power as I am sure it would have started a kitchen fire if we hadn't. The electrical burning smell still lingers after airing the house. Lucky to avoid a disaster I think.
Amazing machine but makes noise when operating at a high temperature after 2 years.
Amazing machine but makes noise when operating at a high temperature after 2 years. I am a fan of all Breville products but seem this one makes more noise the older model.
