Great kettle but lid clip breaks
This is the second Breville kettle we have owned, we earlier had the larger capacity version. We were really happy with the 1 Litre but disappointed when the problem of a broken lid clip recurred in both models. I’m interested to know whether Breville repair this simple defect. Because the lid won’t stay down you have to sit something on top of it while it boils but pouring becomes unsafe with steam gushing out.
Functionality of kettle
Pretty to look at ..... but the design is not functional as condensation and liquid sitting on the glass lid falls all over the outside of the kettle when you open the lid.
Sorry I bought it .... would like a complete refund so I can buy the sunbeam
