I chose this dryer based on its energy efficiency and the trusted BOSCH brand. However, I’ve been disappointed from the beginning. The drying level is poor — clothes never come out feeling properly dry or crisp, even after cleaning the filters regularly. As others have mentioned in their reviews, sheets tend to ball up during the cycle, leaving the inside damp. I can’t help but wonder whether the low power consumption comes at the cost of effective drying. This dryer cost $1,478, and frankly, it’s not worth it. My previous dryer — an old and inexpensive model I used for 15 years — performed far better. It feels like BOSCH no longer lives up to the reputation it once had. There are a lot of five-star reviews for this model, but I honestly don’t understand how people can be so satisfied. Overall, I cannot recommend this product at all.

It's already been fixed once, and now not working again. I'm not sure the design of this dryer is conducive to longevity. Very very disappointed.

I purchased this dryer for its advertised AutoDry technology, which claims to “thoroughly dry clothes at just the right time” while promoting energy efficiency. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Every time I use it to dry a quilt cover, it rolls into a ball, stays damp inside, and I have to pause the cycle, pull it out, spread it out, and restart the dryer—only for it to roll into a wet ball again. Where is the energy efficiency in that? There’s also noticeable vibration coming from the machine, which adds to the frustration. For the price paid, I expected far better performance. I would not recommend this dryer.
